Beach University
Learn more about Siesta Key’s beaches and marine habitat at Beach University. These free community education presentations are held every Thursday in March from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Siesta Beach Main Pavilion.

Easter Egg Hunt
Families with young children will love this annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children ages 1–6 can join the Easter Bunny the Saturday before Easter for egg hunts, photos, games, and activities. It’s a fun, festive event for the whole family.

Kids Summer Beach Runs
This free, one-mile family fun run takes place on Tuesday evenings in June and July along Siesta Beach. Kids earn a t-shirt after completing four runs.
Note: The run does not take place during the week of July 4th.

July 4th Fireworks
Celebrate Independence Day island-style with a spectacular fireworks display over Siesta Beach. Fireworks typically begin around 9:00 pm, weather permitting. Make a full beach day out of it and enjoy one of Siesta Key’s most popular summer traditions.

Safe Treats for Kids
Halloween on Siesta Key is all about family-friendly fun. Bring your little ones in costume for an afternoon of trick-or-treating at local Siesta Key businesses. Participating locations are marked with festive balloons.

Crystal Classic International Sandsculpting Festival

Sandy Claws Beach Run
